 What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are installed by a website on the temporary memory of the user’s browser (and therefore on the device from which the user connects to the website above, for exemple: pc, tablet, mobile phones, smartwatch, etc.) and that record some information related to its browsing activity; such data, if the cookies are not disabled, are communicated to the site that has installed them every time the user returns to visit them. Cookies therefore allow you to record (in temporary mode) some information related to user preferences, and allow a simplified navigation and greater simplicity in use and effectiveness of the site.

Cookies are divided into:

     •session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the user closes the browser;
• persistent cookies, which remain stored on the user’s device for a certain period of time (e.g. to allow the user to authenticate himself easily on the site)
• own cookies, which are created and managed directly by the owner of the site, that the user is visiting;
• third-party cookies, which are created and managed by other subjects different from the owner of the site you are visiting and on which the owner does not have and cannot have any control.

The installation of cookies, which happens with most browsers automatically, can be avoided by the simple deactivation, on the functions of your browser, of the ability to receive cookies. For specific and further information about cookies, the user can click on the link of the browser that usually use:

        Safari.

Used Cookies

In particular, the Site installs the following technical cookies, that is cookies that allow the correct and easy use of the Site:
a) Own technical essential cookies (session and persistent), which allow the user to browse the site, in the absence of such cookies the site may not work. These cookies, in accordance with current legislation, may be issued on the user’s devices without the prior consent of the same, but they should indicated in this privacy policy;

b) Own technical persistent cookies that facilitate the user’s navigation on this site avoiding that the short information on cookies is repeated to the user, once he has clicked the 'OK' button on the banner or after the user has continued to browse the site.

        This site also installs, only after consent from the user, the following types of profiling persistent cookies of third parties (which may be present for example on images, maps, videos, sounds, links to pages outside the site, etc.), tasked with creating individual user profiles in order to allow the sending of advertising messages targeted on the preferences expressed by the user while browsing the site:

c) Third-party profiling cookies related to statistics services (session and persistent): these cookies allow to know how the user visit the site and allow to evaluate and make any changes related to the possibilities of using the information and services (for example these cookies allow to know the number of visitors to the site, the average time of stay on the site, the channels from which the user accesses this site, the most visited pages, etc. ).

To carry out these operations, the Data Controller currently uses the Google Analytics service - a web analytics service, provided by Google, which sends cookies on the user’s device. The information generated by cookies, about the use of the site by visitors, are transmitted to Google and stored by Google on servers in Ireland. Google uses this information to evaluate the use of the site by visitors, to prepare reports on the visitors activity and to provide other services related to the activity of the site and the use of Internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if required by law, or if third parties process this information for Google. Google does not associate IP user's address with any other data that Google itself has collected.
