The agricultural holding Forteto della Luja was handed down to the present owner, Giovanni Scaglione, through the maternal family of his father Giancarlo. The farm first appears in the land registers in 1826, but only in 1985 the winery began the raisining of Moscato Passito, wich won prestigious awards. The name of the winery, Forteto della Luja, derives from the name of the woodlands trasversed by the Luja river, that sorrounds the vineyards.
