La Scolca is the birthplace of Gavi, the most famour white wine of Piedmont. The winery is located in Gavi, in the heart of Val Lemme, and was bought by the great-grandfather of the actual owner, Giorgio Soldati, nowadays helped by his daughter Chiara. They use maximum care in the vineyards and they pay attention during all the production cycle and the principles of biodynamics have been followed for some years.
